To end violence against women, only the implementation of “violence against women law” is not enough, but requires human transformation and human relationships in social interaction and social equality. For this purpose, the Women Activities & Social Service Association (WASSA), in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissionaire for Refugees (UNHCR), commended and celebrated the status of women during the 16-day campaign, entitled “Elimination of Gender-Based Violence in the Workplace” on November 28th, 2018, with the presence of honorable government representatives, civil society activists, women rights organizations, and project beneficiaries. WASSA seeks equality and comfort for all Afghan women and purposely working in this field.
