The center for Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding (CCRP) at WASSA started its initial activities in 2004 and officially inaugurated in 2008. The purpose of the establishment of this center was based on the fact that peace is not an event; it is a process that needs dedication, commitment, and knowledge. The center's goal is to build local capacity towards establishing long-term peace and stability in Afghanistan. For reaching this aim, it engages the following core activities; research, capacity building, education, and exchange program. CCRP works with practitioners and scholars to enhance the understanding of peace and conflict resolution.
