Every cultural shift begins with one person making single positive change when a group shifts together we become a movement. We believe the mechanism for these changes exist within WASSA. We know there is a long way to go but we believe that WASSA has the talent, the vision and the drive to participate in this movement and can contribute in consolidation of peace and democracy in Afghanistan.
WASSA Founder and Chairperson's Message
WASSA is a constituted with the sole objective of identifying violation of women's human rights in all spheres of life and work towards raising awareness on the quality rights of women by conducting fact finding mission, writing and politicizing reports, briefing papers, letters, press release etc. It also reviews the constitutional and legal safeguards for women and recommends remedial legislative measures as well as supporting law reform processes.
WASSA facilitate the structural and widespread advocacy for women to raise their awareness, build their skills individually and collectively for obtaining leadership role.
