MSMEs

The Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) project by WASSA and in partnership with UN Women Afghanistan is making a significant impact in Afghanistan by empowering 100 female beneficiaries to grow and develop their micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This initiative provides essential training in financial literacy, business and accounting skills, and entrepreneurship enhancement. Participants also gain valuable knowledge about Islamic banking and loan systems, enabling them to navigate the financial landscape effectively. The project supports online business promotion and strengthens communication channels with both local and regional markets. In addition, we are fostering the creation of entrepreneurial associations to encourage networking and collaboration among women in business. Through this comprehensive support, WASSA is helping women entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses, driving both economic growth and gender equality in Afghanistan.
