World Health Day

Today, on April 7th, WASSA joins the world in observing World Health Day, a moment to highlight health as a fundamental human right and advocate for accessible healthcare for all.
In Afghanistan, where conflict and limited resources have deeply affected health systems—especially for women and vulnerable groups—WASSA actively contributes to community well-being by providing psychosocial support, raising awareness on maternal and child health, promoting hygiene and reproductive health education, and supporting access to essential healthcare services.
On this important day, we reaffirm our commitment to inclusive, gender-sensitive, and community-based health initiatives, ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey toward health and dignity for all.
