WASSA in Partnership with UN WFP Supports Returnees at Islam Qala Border
Since the very first days of mass returns and deportations from Iran, WASSA, in partnership with the UN World Food Programme (WFP), has been distributing fortified biscuits every day at Islam Qala border (Zero Point).
Thousands of Afghan returnees, including families with children, arrive exhausted and hungry after long journeys. This daily support ensures they receive immediate nutrition and care in their first moments back in Afghanistan.
