A Woman’s Hands, A Family’s Future: Farzana’s Story

⁨For the past seven years, Farzana Nouri has been running her tailoring business with passion and determination.

Before receiving support from the AVAAZ project by WASSA, she had four employees and limited resources. Through the project’s financial support and business training sessions in management and marketing, she received $800 in assistance, which helped her buy new sewing equipment and hire three more employees.

Today, her business is growing, and so is her confidence.

“My father is paralyzed, and my mother is elderly. I’m the one who supports my family. Thanks to WASSA’s support, I can now work with pride and provide for them,” says Farzana.

Her story is a reminder that empowering women means empowering entire families and communities.⁩
