Supporting Women Entrepreneurs for a Brighter Future

For over 23 years, WASSA has been at the forefront of empowering women and promoting social change in Afghanistan.
Through education, capacity-building, advocacy, and direct support, WASSA has worked tirelessly to uplift women, strengthen families, and build more resilient communities.
As part of this mission, and through the WEE project, in partnership with UN Women, cash assistance of 26,500 AFN per person was provided to 100 women entrepreneurs.
This financial support enables women to equip and expand their small businesses, contributing to their economic independence, self-confidence, and active participation in society.
At WASSA, we believe that when women thrive, communities grow stronger. Empowering women is not just a goal—it is a path to a brighter, more inclusive, and equitable future for everyone.
